SC CONSTITUTIONAL DEFENSE
Citizens have the right to protect themselves.
The South Carolina Concealed Weapon Permit (CWP) license isn’t just for those in the military or police. Approximately 1 out of every 30 South Carolina’s citizens have the South Carolina (CWP) license. Why do so many get the concealed carry license? Probably for the same reason that you’re searching how to get the South Carolina CWP license.
The Crime Dilemma
Over and over, we hear reports about people using weapons to kill or seriously harm others. These reports can be very scary. They don’t just happen in “bad” areas, but also in our own neighborhood. The problem is that we never know when someone will choose to target us.
Just like us, those victimized didn’t think they would be a target until they were attacked. Cell phones are great for dispatching help, But do you know how many minutes it takes for the police to arrive? You would be surprised!
Am I a coward or a wimp?
My logic is simply this. All of the adults in that area had the choice that day to either carry a firearm for self-defense or to not carry a concealed firearm. If you “forgot” your gun that day, then you chose not to carry that day. If you don’t have a license yet, then you chose not to carry that day. If you chose not to go through the South Carolina concealed weapon permit training and not to get the CWP license, or simply just not to carry that day, then you have to live with the consequences of your decision.
If you leave your home and realize that you left your cellphone or wallet at home, don’t you go out of your way to turn around and retrieve this forgotten item? What about your concealed handgun? Do you turn around or do you think to yourself, “Well, I probably won’t need it anyways”.
If you don’t have a concealed weapon permit yet, then make this the day that you chose to sign up to take the training. If you already took the concealed carry training, then make this the day that you schedule your appointment with IdentoGO. If you have the CWP license but you don’t have the gear to carry yet, then go today and buy it or order it. If you already have everything that you need, then make today the day that you start to routinely carry. Your pistol should be on your mental checklist of what you need before walking out the door.
Be the protector of yourself and your family. Chose TODAY to not be a victim.
SC Constitutional Defense offers one-day South Carolina concealed weapon permit training for an affordable fee. This fee covers everything that you need to complete the training except for food and drinks. Safe Citisens Defense even rents pistols and sells ammo for the training. And all levels of shooters are welcomed, beginners to advanced shooters.
I Carry a Gun for Myself and My Family – You Carry for Yours Don’t expect me to protect you and your family.
As a licensed concealed carrier I’m going to act in my best interests. My South Carolina concealed weapon permit doesn’t make me a law enforcement officer. The license simply gives me the right to carry a concealed handgun in public. And it is my right to choose to carry and my right to choose to use it in self-defense.
If a mad gunman begins shooting in the area that I’m in, my first thought is to determine if I can safely escape. If I can hit the door without being shot, I’m better off going home safe. But if I’m in the front row to the attack and escaping isn’t an option, then yes, I will have to defend myself, that is, I will defend myself until I can escape.
